Money Manager
Money managers are a business or a bank responsible for the management of a securities portfolio of an individual or institutional investor. A money manager employs individuals with various skills and expertise ranging from research and selection of investment options to monitoring assets for decision making in when to sell. The money manager has a fiduciary responsibility to choose and management investments wisely for their clients, in return for a fee. These fiduciary duties include developing an appropriate investment strategy, while buy and selling securities to meet the financial goals of the client.

Money managers are also known as ‘portfolio managers’ or ‘investment managers’. Personalized service is given to individuals on a fee based management level, as opposed to transaction based management. A professional money manager is not paid by commission of transaction, but rather is paid based on the percentage of the assets under management. Therefore, your money manager is quite trust worthy as it is in the best interest of both parties to watch the portfolio grow.
